Most people's relationship with music is the most private thing about them.

What they play at 2am. What they skip past at the gym. What they've had on repeat for three weeks and haven't told anyone about.

The Academy's music department exists at the moment that changes —when someone decides their taste is specific enough to mean something, worn on a shirt, legible to exactly the right people and invisible to everyone else.

Music doesn't need to be explained to the people who get it. That's been true about music since the beginning. It was always going to be true about the shirts, too.

The collection is updated as the canon shifts. Some of what's here now won't be here later. The ones who move first usually have the better story.
